The Snag

ThruDark’s rapid growth pushed its warehouse to the limit, and subsequent success in the US forced a need for change. To keep up with demand and maintain customer satisfaction, they needed a swift switch to Bleckmann as their 3PL.

But sales were only part of it; the returns process was every bit as important to keep customers happy and returning to the brand.

ThruDark also needed an overhaul of its existing ERP. Too much of its data was inputted manually, meaning much of it was out of date and inaccurate by the time it was required.

Automating these systems would save time and let staff focus on driving growth.

The Project

HighCohesion unified ThruDark’s tech stack by connecting Priority ERP, Bleckmann 3PL, Airtable, and Shopify to create data flows that supported growth.

We migrated ERP integrations to enable accurate financials, reliable discounting, and gift card services.

Despite a tight two-month deadline, we integrated Bleckmann, added a Gift With Purchase customs labelling feature, and even accommodated a late pre-order request.

The integration spanned both UK and US stores, showcasing our global expertise and paving the way for phase two: integrating ThruDark’s returns with Loop.

The Results

Room for Growth: Migrated ERP integrations to create data flows that supported growth.

Both Sides of the Pond: We rolled out all integrations across both UK and US Shopify stores for a unified brand experience.

Revolutionised Returns: Automated returns with Loop provide better data flow and precision between warehouse and website.

Happier Customers: We delivered a Gift With Purchase customs labelling feature and a late-stage pre-order capability.
