HighCohesion helps take T.M.Lewin global, improve efficiencies with a 3PL migration and integrate a new returns platform.
The Snag
After the success of our first project with the brand in 2022, things at T.M.Lewin were looking better than ever. The company had big ambitions to launch in the US and Australia, then worldwide, and they wanted to do it fast!
But that’s not all.
T.M.Lewin wanted to switch to a new 3PL to drive efficiencies within the business and upgrade the customer experience with improved shipping options, returns processes and exchanges.
The Project
The US Launch
The brand’s top priority was to integrate Global-e with its existing Shopify setup to enable it to sell internationally, with a focus on the US and Australia. Things happened fast, with implementation, testing, and launch executed in just under six weeks. This enabled sales in more than 170 countries and produced an immediate uplift in orders. But this wasn’t just about reaching new markets; we also developed specific returns and refund rules for international and domestic orders.
The 3PL Migration
The HighCohesion team faced a tight deadline with just six weeks to complete vital integration upgrades for T.M.Lewin. Switching to Torque, migrating the Global-e functionality over, and implementing Loop returns in that timeframe was a tall order, but the HighCohesion team rose to the challenge.
We leveraged our strong relationship with Torque to quickly establish the initial set-up. This allowed us to dedicate more time and resources to tackling the more complex aspects of the project such as full integration into TM Lewin’s ERP at the same time as delivering order and returns integrations across all front-end systems.
Using test Shopify, Torque and HighCohesion environments that mirrored the live setups, we were able to perform really detailed and extensive UAT, meaning nothing was left to chance.

The Results
Quick Expansion: The integration of Global-e with Shopify enabled seamless international sales, expanding the customer base to key markets in the US and Australia, plus almost 120 countries.
Overcoming International Challenges: End-to-end processes were automated from day one, allowing T.M.Lewin to open new markets without increasing complexity while leveraging maximum value from their relationship with Global-e.
Improved Customer Experience: The new integration with Global-e meant that international customers could purchase in their own currency with full knowledge of shipping and duty costs.
Seamless Returns: Implementing Loop returns significantly improved the returns process, giving customers full visibility and reducing manual processes.
These projects were all about opening up new markets and opportunities for the business, enhancing customer experience and improving productivity without adding complexity to how we operate so we can focus on the customer and product.
That requires the right technology and services from providers like Global-e, Torque and Loop. But smaller businesses like ours also need a high degree of automation so that we can scale efficiently. This cannot be done without robust, resilient and high-quality integrations between your tech stack and your partners. And that’s what HighCohesion delivers for us.
To land 3 major integration projects within two tight deadlines was incredibly impressive, and they have been key enablers of our growth plans.”
