HighCohesion was there when HERA needed a quick but high-quality integration to capitalise on its explosive growth.
The brand.
HighCohesion works with brands boasting more than 100 years of history. By contrast, HERA was founded in 2015.
Which goes to show just how impressive HERA’s explosive growth has been since its inception.
Back then, HERA’s ‘spray-on’ skinny jeans for men were a revolution and after going on sale, caught the eye of celebs such as Lewis Hamilton, Hailey Beiber and Brooklyn Beckham.
Of course, once these big names were seen wearing them the orders came flooding in, and by 2021 HERA was acquired by British clothing entrepreneur Paul Richardson.
With Holly Beadle (CEO) and Georgia Streeton (CBO) at the helm, the company has transformed to offer a wide range of men’s and women’s clothing at the cutting edge of fashion with huge aspirations for the future.
But as with so many businesses experiencing rapid growth, HERA quickly realised the importance of seamless tech integration and how it would be paramount to its success.
The snag.
Which is where HighCohesion comes in.
HERA’s new management had been clear they wanted huge things for HERA, and with one eye on an international expansion, they needed to upgrade their logistics capabilities.
HERA had a very good relationship with its existing 3PL, but the sheer volume of orders flooding in was forcing a change to its back end that required experience to integrate.
But not just experience - quick thinking was needed too.
HERA needed a swift turnaround to meet its peak season and an integration reliable enough to stand the test of time while providing a solid platform for growth.
With limited tech resources in-house, it was HighCohesion’s responsibility to deliver the integration and help HERA achieve its goals.

The HighCohesion solution.
Bringing on Bleckmann as a new 3PL was a natural step, allowing HERA to move forward into a new era of growth with full confidence in its customer promise, operational data and technical capability.
Keeping in mind HERA’s demands for a speedy solution, HighCohesion set about spending time with the team to identify the MVP for the first set of integrations.
After our initial investigations, HighCohesion and HERA worked together to design, build and go live with the solution in just four weeks, leaving two weeks for final testing and the 3PL switch.
This was possible using the experience gained integrating Shopify and Bleckmann for other high-volume brands.
Importantly, HighCo’s proficiency guided HERA towards an MVP that worked within the timeframe rather than needlessly integrating all possible tech at such an early stage, saving the team time and money.
We also worked closely with our valued partner and advisor to HERA, Whānau, using their deep operational knowledge and longstanding relationship with Bleckmann to further hone that MVP.
Ultimately, it was the holy trinity for a 3PL integration: orders, shipments and inventory.

After going live, the team at HERA were delighted with the new integration and reported zero issues.
