The brand.

Adanola is a clothing brand that’s about more than just quality - it’s about community.

Founded in 2015 in Manchester by serial entrepreneur Hyrum Cook, it has transformed from a small-scale women’s activewear brand to a fashion powerhouse.

The catalyst for this success? Simplicity and social media.

Adanola’s clothing range is a clean mix of stylish, high-quality pieces that can be easily matched. Influencers and celebrities quickly took notice and gave the brand the boost it needed.

The likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Michelle Keegan, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley and Kourtney Kardashian were all seen out and about in Adaonla.

In turn, thousands of loyal fans took to Instagram to show off their look.

Today, Adanola is processing tens of thousands of orders a month and has been signed by iconic department stores Harrods and Selfridges.

But despite its huge success, Adanola has remained true to its sustainable roots.

It will continue to produce clothing in small batches that react to demand, its packaging will always be 100% recyclable and it still carbon offsets its production processes.

The snag.

But with huge upticks in demand and a sudden pressure to remain efficient against massive growth often come problems that require quick solutions.

Adanola’s was a failed back-end launch that had left it with crippling inefficiencies and a once-happy community leaving discontented comments.

With limited visibility over its saleable and unsaleable stock and a partial solution that saw no support for improving its returns process, things had to change.

Adanola had the vision, it had the clothing, it had the community, but its service was letting it down.

With customers frustrated that the latest looks weren't in stock or that what they had ordered wasn’t arriving, Adanola was on the search for a steadfast solution.

Rather than trying to right the wrongs already in place, we sat down with Adanola and began a clean sheet analysis of what the business needed to succeed.

An intense Solution Design process unravelled the errors and helped catch fundamental inefficiencies.

Stock status was our first target, as we ensured the data flowing into Adanola’s WMS Peoplevox was timely and precise.

The result was far greater visibility over its stock, fewer oversold items, greater confidence in the data flowing through, and most importantly, happier customers.

Another area that needed complete reform was Adanola’s returns process.

By properly integrating Aftership, HighCohesion helped Adanola regain complete control of stock entering back into the system and automating the process to save time and money.

Furthermore, ensuring lighting quick and dependable currency conversion across Adanola’s global Shopify stores would also eliminate inaccuracies across the orders and returns process.

The work took less than six months, culminating in a meticulous build and test period before a three-day launch process that left absolutely no stone unturned.
